      Below is the snow report for Silverton as of Feburary 1, 2003. This year
      has been very dry, as you can tell. Furthermore, a very warm January
      caused more than normal snow melt. The San Juan area is at about 62% of
      normal snowfall for this time of year.

        So how come you're at home sending out snow reports while we're down in
        Socorro thinking your rapidly chilling body is lying somewhere up in the
        San Mateo Mtns.? Although I do want to support the mountain lions and
        coyotes in that area.

          MS Mountain Lion and MR Coyote gnawed on me for awile and gave up. It
          seems I'm much tougher than the local herbivores and they spit me out. I'm
          quite offended, my self esteem is lowered, and I've filed a complaint with
          the ACLU for justice and reasonable compensation for the insult.
