Fw: Knee Surgery
- Hope I'll be running next year thanks to Roger and Kevin Stone. There seem
to be a lot of people interested in this new procedure which sure beats knee
replacements so I'm sending it to the group. Carl

>>Please let us know how everything goes at StoneClinic. We refered my
>>brother to them--I hope it goes well for you so we can urge him to visit
>>them. His knees went several years ago and he has almost no meniscus left.
>>Yes, my running was really bad this year. I didn't train as much as I
>>should have early on (too much work) and I started much too slow at
>>Leadville. I lost an hour in the first 35 miles and wasn't able to make
>>that much time up. After Twin Lakes (outbound) I didn't lose any more
>>but I didn't make up any either.
>>Write in a few days when you know what the clinic says.
>>Hi to Sally from the both of us.
>>>Don't know if this address is still good for you. Got the package and
>>>Kathie's letter. Thanks! Looked at results on the web and could not
>>>that everyone I know did not finish. Sorry you were 0 for 3. In 91' (my
>>>first year) I finished all 4. Went into 92' with a big head and was 0 for
>>>and also scratched AR100. 93' I came back and had my best ever year
>>>finishing WS & HR and 4 more, so you never know. I'll answer Kathie as
>>>as I get back from the stoneclinic.com I go to tomorrow. Carl
