Dirty 30 Registration opens at 12:00 am Saturday February 4th.
Register early to assure your spot in the 4th Annual Golden Gate Dirty 30 - - 50K, 12 Mile and 7 Mile, 95% single track trails with a single loop course through aspen groves, pine forests, grassy meadows, rocky ridges with amazing views of the snow-capped Continental Divide.  Lots of climbing, $1600 in prize money, post-race meal, EXPO, Pick-up-Sticks Marimba band, and massage all in a beautiful park setting with a cold stream rushing by are just a few things that make this event such a great way to spend the day with friends and family.  The race filled in 3 weeks last year . . . so don’t wait if you know you want to race this year.
Race takes place in the mountains just 45 minutes west of downtown Denver, or an hour from Boulder in Golden Gate Canyon State Park on Saturday June 2, 2012.  50K starts at 6:00 am, 12M starts at 9:00 AM and the 7 mile starts at 10:00 AM. The winners of all 3 races will finish around 11:00 AM making a fun and exciting finish line.

      50K training Program - -
Ultra Running Coach, Cindy Stonesmith has organized a 16 week training program that will take you from running 25 – 30 miles a week to running 60 – 65 miles a week.  If you want to run the 50K, but have never run this distance before this is an excellent program to help you achieve your goal and arrive healthy and strong.  This program is also beneficial for the experienced ultra-runner who wants structure and a program to keep moving forward with your goal, helping you arrive at the starting line, ready and injury free.   Training program starts on February 13th.
Registration and race details can be found at www.goldengatedirtythirty.org  If you have questions please review the website first, then e-mail megan at megan@....  Please don't call with your questions.  Thanks.
