      Northwestern PA - Titusville PA / Oil Creek State Park - birthplace of the oil industry in 1859

      50K - initial limit of 75 runners
      50 miles - initial limit of 75 runners
      100 miles - initial limit of 100 runners

      We MAY allow more entries as overflow parking details are worked out over the upcoming months, but this is not guaranteed.

      Come a few days early and enjoy the local sights such as Niagara Falls (only 3 hours away), the local Erie casino with its 2,000 slot machines, the beautiful Erie indoor water park Splash Lagoon, Presque Isle State Park in Erie, Drake Well Museum, and the spectacular Oil Creek & Titusville Railroad train ride through the park to see the gorgeous autumn colors (note - these train rides sell out months in advance, so plan accordingly) .

      Dates / times:
      Oct 9, 2009 - pre race dinner / meeting
      Oct 10 beginning @ 5 AM - staggered start of 100, 50 & 50K races
      Oct 11 @ 1 PM - 50 & 100 mile races officially end / start of 100 mile awards ceremony (a heavy and high-quality finisher's buckle to all finishers, awards to the top 3 males and females in each race).

      See you in October in "the valley that changed the world" - the birthplace of the oil industry in 1859.
