Group Description

This is a topic-oriented email message Al-Anon group for anyone who has been affected by the family disease of alcoholism in a friend or family member. We are a fellowship of spouses, families, and friends of alcoholics/addicts who share their Experience, Strength, and Hope in order to learn how to live life with enhanced serenity, and live life on life's terms. We believe that addiction is a family illness and that our own changed attitudes can aid our own recovery. . Due to the sensitive nature of subject matter we do ask that you give a brief reason for your desire to join. WELCOME!

***We are welcome to share our individual Experience, Strength, and Hope on Al-Anon related topics. In doing this, we come together for hope and mutual help. We come to learn how to live the Al-Anon program. Off-topic shares on subjects relevant to Al-Anon and our own recovery are permitted if we remember to pass along the miracle of the Al-Anon program and the many priceless tools it offers. Remember to "keep coming back; it works if you work it together"!***

Note: This group has a very high volume of message posts.
Please consider this when you select your method of message delivery upon joining the group. Your email address will be displayed in the group posts, so please be aware of this when you join and choose an email address that protects your anonymity.
