Have you actually check the oil pressure when the engine is warm (and the warning light is on)? Maybe the pressure is OK, and it's a problem with the sensor

The alternator is verry wimpy and wont keep the bike running with headlights on below about 2k rpm. It actually runs off the battery at stop lights while

Doubtful that you could push start it with it being that dead. But worth a try if you need to ride it to the store to get a new battery.

If you were measuring across the battery terminals and the voltage dropped from 12.5 vdc [no-load] to 0.5 vdc [light load], then the battery has extremely high
