Dear Masimba, Andrius, and All,
Wonderful to hear from you and to know you are now back in ZW! Hopefully we
can start discussions again of the "Pads for Peace" (or whatever name we
choose) project. Masimba and I corresponded a month ago at the time of the
International AIDS Conference, and I linked him then with a young woman
(ActALIVE affiliation) originally from ZW--with a youth-related project
there--who now lives in the USA.
She seems interested to help out, and I hope to pick up the threads of our
discussion here at HH on this theme (I recall feedback from Masimba,
Andrius, Bev, Ed, Cathy, Chris, and others, and will go through the record
to find all who replied).
Masimba, what is your take on the political situation now (ie
power-sharing), and how are things for people in their everyday lives? Yes,
please do invite others, for the particular project we have discussed, and
With all best wishes and blessings, Janet

Masimba, I'm glad to hear you are back home in your country and I hope
with your family and all your loved ones. I'm excited to hear the
news from Zimbabwe. I imagine there are great challenges ahead but so
much has been achieved. Please keep us posted how we can help and
invite others to join us here.
