Komets coach Greg Pilling stood on the boards and waived a white towel
at the referee for a prolonged period of time.. The fans went ape shit!.
Does that mean that Roger Neilson "copied" it from Pilling ? Is
Pilling the mother of the white- out then ? Or did Pilling copy it from
someone else ? My point..? Figure it out . :-)
- Hello, my name is Sue Modolo and I am new to the list.
I was wondering if anyone had any information on any Canadian participation
in international hockey - Olympics, World Championship, World Cup, Ahearne
Cup, Spengler Cup, etc. I am putting together a series of websites and need
all kinds of info. I do have the book RED, WHITE AND GOLD - the history of
the World Jrs.

I'm unfamiliar about the Komert incident. Did the fans show up for the rest
of the season or playoff run waving white towels like Vancouver fans did?
Granted Winnipeg fans wore all white to the games, but the effect was
effectively started during the Canucks 82 Cup run.
