Absolutely NOTHING to do with the ECHL, but I just have to post this anyway.
Please ignore if you are not interested in what has to be one of the funniest
      incidents ever in professional hockey.

Last night, the Komets were visiting the K-Wings.

Mel Angelstad is the resident tough guy for the K-Wings. He's clobbered many
      a poor soul.

Komet Eric Boguniecki is quite a bit smaller than Angelstad, who tries to
limit his fighting to other tough guys. Boguniecki kept yapping at Mel,
pushing him with his stick, calling him ugly, etc., early in the third. Mel
was trying to decide what to do -- he'd make potted meat out of someone like
that. The guy had a death wish.

He asked Mel if he wanted "a piece of" him. Instead of pummeling the guy, Mel
grabbed him, pulled him close and kissed him full on the lips! The crowd,
teams, press, coaches, officials, EVERYONE was stunned.

Eric Boguniecki got two minutes for roughing. Mel Angelstad got two minutes
      for unsportsmanlike conduct.
