last minute invitation - Paul Doherty "The Great Crown Jewel Robbery of 1303"
- Last minute complimentary entrance invitation!
You are cordially invited to a talk by Paul Doherty on his new novel
The Great Crown Jewel Robbery of 1303, tonight at 7pm at the Royal
Over-Seas League in central London.
Most readers of historical fiction will have come across the work of
the highly prolific Paul Doherty, who writes under several pseudonyms
including P.C. Doherty; C. L. Grace, Michael Clynes, and Paul
Harding. He has written 47 novels in 13 years on a remarkably wide
range of subjects. His hugely popular mediaevalist novels include the
Hugh Corbett series set in the reign of Edward I, and his most recent
series is set in 4th century Rome, and features Claudia, who is in
the pay of the Emperor Constantine's mother, Helena.
For tonight's talk his subject is the first and only successful raid
on the Crown Jewels which took place at Westminster Abbey in March
I will be delighted to offer you and your guest(s) complimentary
entrance on production of this letter at the door. After the talk,
which will last approximately one hour, there will be the opportunity
to talk to the speaker and buy books, over a glass of wine.
