W4RT Electronics at Hamvention
- W4RT Electronics will be at Hamvention 2005 in Dayton 20-22 May. The
Booth Numbers are 114-115. In addition to having the variety of W4RT
products, we will also be the Official LDG Electronics Hamvention
Headquarters ... lots of tuners and other goodies plus new items!
There is going to be very interesting special pricing on many items,
so come early to the booths in order not to be disappointed because
we have sold out of what you want. The pricing is for purchases made
at the Hamvention only.
For the first time, W4RT will offer at Dayton DIY kits to install our
famous One Board Filter (OBF) in the FT-817, IC-703, and IC-718. The
OBF contains a 7-pole 500 Hz and a 10-pole 2300 Hz Collins Mechanical
Filter. Now you don't have to decide which filter to install, you
can have both! Single Collins Mechanical Filters for the FT-817,FT-
857, FT-897, IC-703, and IC-718 will also be available. If you are
in the market for these filters, be sure to stop by and check out our
filter prices before you buy.
Another new item for Dayton is the MAX PUNCH Module which contains
the widely-used W4RT One BIG Punch speech compressor and the highly-
acclaimed Heil HC-4 and HC-5 elements. This is a DIY kit for the
Yaesu MH-31 microphone that is typically used with such radios the FT-
817, FT-857, and FT-897. Want to improve your TALK POWER and bust
those pile ups? Then the MAX Punch Module is a great choice!
You can also pick up a bhi, Ltd. DSP module for your FT-817, IC-706,
TS-50, etc. at the W4RT Electronics booths. This is arguably the
single most important add-on to your radio you can make. This DSP
doesn't use the common signal processing methods used by others, but
instead employs modern dynamically-adaptive neural-network technology
to achieve noise and tone reduction that is remarkably more
impressive than other noise reduction technologies available for the
FT-817, IC-706, TS-50, and other radios.
See you at the Hamvention!
