I always start with the "belly button" method of starting a circular item. Use LOTS of markers, and take it slow. You'll get it!

I'm on round 47 and have come up 2 sts short. I thought I had kept careful count and can find no dropped sts. Keeping count was easier when I had the piece on

I'm sure a lot of people feel that way, but every hand knit & crochet blanket I received for my child had plenty of holes. I plan on making it for a baby gift
