Group Description

A very warm welcome to our forum!

We were the first support group dedicated to helminthic therapy - an emerging, experimental and as yet unapproved approach to the treatment and prevention of autoimmune disease, inflammation and allergy.

The therapy involves deliberate, low-level infection with organisms belonging to a class of benign intestine-dwelling nematodes, referred to as helminths, that we in the West have lost contact with during the last century as a result of modern sanitation.

We have a vast searchable archive of discussions, and members have access to a Files section containing documents explaining various aspects of the therapy, including details of the organisms used and the providers who supply them. However, we don’t discuss individual providers in the group and, instead, focus our attention on the science and experience of the therapy.

Our aim is to share, and add to, what is known about the therapy, with a view to enabling us to improve our own heath and also to help others achieve their respective health goals. We therefore welcome contributions from anyone with an interest in helminthic therapy, whether researchers, clinicians, providers, users or potential users.

Once you have registered to join our group, please go first to the Files section and read the WELCOME MESSAGE AND DISCLAIMER. The link to the Files section can be found in the drop-down menu that will appear when you click on the "More" button beneath the picture at the top of this page.

Thank you for your interest, and best wishes for your pursuit of better health.
