      Thank you, Juergen, for showing from historical etymology that "meta" has other meanings than "after".   Some of these meaning include "inner" (Faust), and "already", and "that which keeps the physical world together."   I appreciate the notion of the "social fabric".   

      All this suggests Metaphysics as something far beyond what some early 20th century scholars claimed was merely a title given by a librarian.  

      Yet defending those scholars exceeds the purpose of a Hegel List.   The real question to ask is this: How did Hegel himself specifically use the word, "Metaphysics" whenever he used it?    What was the context of that use?   How many times did he use the term?    Would you agree?
