      Dear Paul,

Thanks. I don't have the Adorno here with me just now. It's one of three German essays he published, I think, as a book. I think I will only be able to grasp his general position when I have read the whole essay, if then.

It's in a sling. I see the specialist on Tuesday (first time9, if I can find someone to drive me there.

      enjoying reading you here.

      Stephen Theron.

      Dear Stephen,

It's great to hear from you at last, after your recent accident.   Your arm -- was it severely injured?   Is it now in a cast, perhaps?

As for Adorno -- thanks for recollecting him in this thread.   This essay in Swedish language that he wrote on Hegel -- what is its title?

      All best,
      --Paul

      our portrait of Hegel...

the severe Theodor Adorno, I discover, had as much love for Hegel as he appears to have non-loved Heidegger, with his "jargon of Authenticity".

This is very clear in his long essay on Hegel which I have in Swedish translation and am trying to read (hard to prop up the heavy volume with this arm just now).

He well picks out his strengths, while ending by citing words to his sister re his recent marriage..
