I am so so so so sorry if you get this more than once. But I need help QUICK!
Ok. Today I was going to start teaching my son (nearly 5) about the solar system. Mainly just an overview, but I know he is interested in space, and going into space, so I thought he would really like it. Well, as soon as the word "space" was mentioned, he started getting really excited, saying he wanted to "go into space" with his "space suit". With his slight autism, he basically has no imagination to speak of, so I can't just say "lets pretend we are in space". My question is this... can anyone recommend any good ways to "recreate" going into space? And making a cheap astronaut costume? I thought about making a rocket ship out of cardboard, but don't really know how? Any other good activities adn such I could use with him?? Thanks for any ideas.
