  • it is still in the planning stage right now....to do the entire trip would take 4 or 5 days depending on river conditions..if you do a search for choctawhatchee river it will bring up a site with some very useful info...we plan on doing from newton ala to the last bridge before the bay/gulf...and early may is our target ....i will post a notice when i get all the details worked out...

  • i have had nylon tarps and such mist in very heavy down pours...if i may here is a simple test to see if your tarp will mist under heavy down pour....take your tarp and set it up in a pup tent set( or some call it a "A" set)..then under neith the tarp...place a sheet of card board( large box opend up will do... be sure to raise it up on something so when the ground gets wet...

  • hahaha .. no what i mean't is 2 hammocks are better than one..2 sleeping in the same hammock comfortably means they both must move very little while sleeping..dont have to pee 3 times a night..plus they must enjoy being tight up aganst someone else while sleeping..taking in all these and other factors into account..2 hammocks would be better than one....but hey no one says you cant...
