      HH, and you couldn't open and close it from inside an HH.

      If you laid it out flat etc., etc. But then it wouldn't be a
      Pea Pod, but just a flat quilt.

      That's the thing with all these proposed modifications to
      the HH. In my book the HH is what it is BECAUSE the bug net
      is permanently attached and you enter through the bottom.
      That (and the other patented features) are the very essence
      of the design.

      If you want a hammock with more flexibility in
      configuration, go the Speer route. Or explore Clark
      hammocks, or the excellent and very affordable Mosquito
      Hammock (www.mosquitohammock.com).
