athiker1994... i haven`t yet, but i`ve been thinking about it
recently. before i discovered what i`d been missing in hammock
camping, i bought a ray way tarp. it`s not quite as long as i would
like & the end beaks may sometimes create a chalange w/ a hammock, but
there are things i like about it. the two pull outs on each side give
more swinging room for one. i have used it in the rain & the hammock
stayed nice & dry, but a little wind could change things. the thought
i had was a trangle of silnylon or tyvek. two corners would conect
inside & under the tarp a foot or so down from the ridge line on each
side, & the third corner would connect by a line to the tree hugger.
this would leave a triangle shaped hole at the ridge for ventilation.
the two connections to the tarp would need to include a short length
of line on each corner to allow for differant roof angles. this is the
basic, begining idea. it will probably need modification.
      thanks...slowhike
