If you wish to use something permanent, you will need to do something
like an eyebolt in a block of 2x4, which is then held to several
vertical 2x4s in the wall with lag screws.
However, there is probably something in the garage you can hang a
hammock from.... the car. I have done this with a truck... just a
2x2 stuck in one of the upright holders. Take the truck to a tree
somewhere. This works in campgrounds. There may be some places to
connect a hammock to a car as well... Just remember that it will pull
with about 3-600 pounds of force. Don' go bending your pretty car or
breaking off your steering wheel.
