Re: [Hammock Camping] MacGyver report
- Thank you Rogene -- actually, Tom gave me an incredible deal on a new one, the "Cat Cape" which has a zipper so it can be worn as a poncho similar to the Packa but w/o the "hump." And they fixed my hammock cords, back to the original rigging, at no cost. Half price on tree-huggers and snakeskins. I had talked w/ Rosaleen previously on the phone, and she said it was too bad I couldn't get the hammock down to Trail Days, and I said it wasn't possible b/c I was going to be hiking. But then I got to thinking, why not go to Trail Days instead? So I did. Before that it hadn't occurred to me that they might be able to restore the hammock. So Rosaleen gave me a good steer :-)
