happy with and a catenary cut is just a tool to help achieve
tautness. Sufficient tieouts, panel pullouts, no-stretch guyline,
shockcord/elastic, tarp shape, ridgeline orientation and rigid/fixed
tieoff points are also tools to help achieve tautness. And if you
have other problems a catenary cut or any of the other things I
mentioned may not make up for them... for instance if one of the
trees that you are tied off to slowly bends during the night you are
going to have a real hard time maintaining a taut tarp.
