      Loncke:- On Friday, 5th. Inst., at Pln. Rose Hall, Canje, Edward, (Chief Engineer), the beloved husband of Georgiana Loncke, father of Mrs. Durant (England), Uncle of Darcy Makie (New York), and Emma Williams of Georgetown. Aged 71 years.
      Funeral took place in Georgetown, yesterday.

      Simon:- On Friday, April 22nd., 1938, at Golden Grove, East Coast, Demerara: James Rodwell, (retired Postmaster), the beloved father of Harold, Fred, Bertrand, Winslade, Eardley, Evertz, and Mai. Aged 66 years.
      Funeral from the above address at 4.30 p.m.today.

      Funeral at 4 o’clock, today.

      Elliott – On Monday, September 13th., 1948 at her residence, Nabaclis Village, East Coast, Demerara, Mrs. Annie Sophia, relict of T. J. Elliott, retired schoolmaster, Mother of Edward, Henry, Sydney and Wilfred Elliott, and Mesdames H. Bradshaw, S. Willis, and M. Patterson, and sister of Miss Sarah Sandy, retired School teacher.
      The funeral will remove from the house of mourning - Nabaclis Village – to Victoria Roman Catholic church for the funeral service, and back to Nabaclis cemetery for interment at 4.00 p.m., today.
      Relatives and friends are asked to accept this intimation.

      The marriage between Mr. Percy Arundel Braithwaite, Compositor of the Daily Argosy, ltd., and Miss Maud Roberts, will take place at 4.30 p.m. on Easter Monday afternoon April 18th., at St. Barnabas Church.
