      Someone on the group once proposed that the author of Philip had an open copy of Thomas before him. Indeed, Philip follows Thomas in NHL. Consider the two following statements. Could Thomas have been the original? Alternatively, could they both have come from the same tradition, perhaps a non-canonical saying which originally might have been present in Q?
