Several gthomas list members have asked privately about the "other" GOT
list. That list spun out of the gthomas list last winter to serve the needs
of list members who were interested in free ranging discussion about the
GOT. Questions like -- Did Jesus have a penis? If he had a penis, was it
circumcised? So -- How come all the depictions of Christ on the Cross show
him with a foreskin? ( just kidding --here is the raison d'etre for the
      GOT List -- :-)
      ------------------
      What we are about
Our GospelofThomas list (GOT-L for short) is an international meeting place
for anyone interested in the 114 sayings of the Gospel of Thomas (GOT). The
list's intent is to provide a forum for sharing of all aspects of the GOT
and GOT related information across all boundaries and to bring into contact
members and ideas who normally would never have met. The GOT-L is not
related to, managed, or run by any religious group or association..

      How to join ----
Subscribe to the list by going to
http://www.onelist.com/subscribe/GospelofThomas You need to sign in to the
      ONElist system to join.

Another way to join is to send a blank message to :
      GospelofThomas-subscribe@onelist.com

Once you are on the list you simply send your mail to
      GospelofThomas@onelist.com
      ------------------
Anyway -- some gthomas list members are also GOT-List members. Right now we
are up to saying #42 --which Mike G knows well is very interesting.
