Monthly Report for 2013.03
- View SourceLast month was just about an ideal one, for several reasons: (1) volume:not too heavy, not too light; 46 messages posted*, above average for themonth, and same YTD as last year, (2) number of participants (16),(3) minimal presence of yrs. truly (only 5 messages!), and (4) a fine inter-action between published scholars on an area of current controversy.Contributors were Bruce Brooks (8 postings), Tom Reynolds (6), JudyRedman (5), Mark Goodacre (4), Stephen Carlson and Ron McCann(3 each), Rick Hubbard, Jack Kilmon, and James McGrath (2 each), withsingles from Andrew Criddle, Chris Skinner, Stephen Goranson*, JordanStratford, Kayleen Asbo, and John Moon. Most of the month's postings were on two threads - 'Authorship andDating' at the beginning of the month (14 messages) and 'Redman'sReponse to Goodacre's Thomas Book' at the end of the month (26messages). The latter was, IMO, one of the best discussions we'veever had. Many thanks to all, with special shout-out to well-knownbiblioblogger James McGrath, from whom we hear all too rarely.MWG*Yahoogroup's count is 49, but that includes 3 by Stephen Goransonwhich were deleted due to lack of poster content (technical difficulties).Fortunately, Stephen Carlson posted the missing Goranson content.
