FTP and online connection
- HI Kevin,
I've been playing around with Scoutmate for only a little while but I'm finally ready to fully use the program and want to set it up online. I went to the Internet Options tab and after a long chat session with my internet provider I figured out how to answer the SMTP information ( I think) but they directed me to you about the FTP information.
I have no idea what FTP is so I have no idea what to do about it but it seems clear I need it in order to continue with setting up the program on line. I won't be able to know if anything I have already entered worked since I need the FTP information. Can you give it through this forum or do I need to somehow connect or call your main office?

You can do this using the "Ask G-Scoutmate" button in the report area.
So, go into the report area (Reports and Girl Scouts/Adults) or click on
the Report icon.
Under Member Typoe, click on "Girls and Adults"
Click on Ask G-Scoutmate
On the right side, click on "Both"
On the left side, click on "Registration (Effective Date)"
In the middle, click on "On"
On the right, enter the date that you entered in for this year's
registration date (i.e., 10/1/2008).
Click on the "Add Question" button
If you're tracking multiple troops/groups, click on the "Include all
troops in results?" checkbox
Click on "Ask!"
This will bring you back to the girl/adult selection screen, and all of
the registered girls and adults will be selected.
Click on "Next"
Select your report (probably a roster or phone/address list)
Print the report
