- There must be so many of the strips that didn't make it into the books I have. And all the Sunday strips I wonder about too. In time, later on, it would be so wonderful for someone to compile a complete collection of this great comic.

TK ended the strip in 2007 when he decided to retire.
I first encountered Tumbleweeds in Frontier Times magazine in the sixties, and then it ran in our local newspaper for several years (not enough). As a History buff and fan of Hollywood Westerns I was immediately attracted to the strip.. Tom K Ryan had such a wonderful, really weird sense of humor which attracted many readers. He will be missed.
