              I first encountered Tumbleweeds in Frontier Times magazine in the sixties, and then it ran in our local newspaper for several years (not enough). As a History buff and fan of Hollywood Westerns I was immediately attracted to the strip. Tom K Ryan had such a wonderful, really weird sense of humor which attracted many readers. He will be missed.
