A quick reminder that the next Cycle Liaison Meeting with Greenwich
Council will take place at 7pm on Monday 23 February at Woolwich Town
      Hall, Wellington Street, Woolwich SE18.

A number of people volunteered to go to these meetings, but please let
me know if you are interested in joining us.

The main item will be an examination of the Council’s Interim Local
(Transport) Implementation Plan – which contains the most recent
commitments the Council has made to cycling. We will be assessing what
progress the council has made on these commitments, and what else we
need to address to promote cycling more broadly. I have asked Andy to
put a copy of this on the website as soon as he can, or if you are
particularly interested, please let me know and I can send you a copy
directly. Please do take a look – I would be interested to hear your views.

Other agenda items we hope to cover are:

      * London Cycle Network – especially the Thames Path/Westminster
      Industrial Estate path problem
      * Cycle parking schemes

*Cycle Parking*The Council plans to be introduce cycle parking in
Greenwich Town Centre near St Mary’s Gate, King William Walk, and at
Greenwich Church street near the DLR Station, plus cycle lockers at
North Greenwich Underground, Plumstead and Abbey Wood stations.

If you have other suggestions please let me know.
