Severndroog ride this Sunday
Meet: 2pm in Greenwich Park (General Wolfe statue by the Observatory) – NOT Cutty Sark gardens
After 25 years closed to the public, the tower on Shooters Hill known as Severndroog Castle reopens on Sunday after extensive refurbishment by architects Thomas Ford & Partners.
We will avoid main roads as far as possible, but still a short ride of no more than 10 miles total.
The castle is open until 4.30 pm with a new cafe. Admission £2.50 (£2 concessions). Guided tours available – not bookable in advance so it will depend on demand.
