I have two afterworkers planned for next week…

      Where: Thames Path to Erith
      When: Tuesday 9 July 2013
Meet: 18:30 @ Cutty Sark Gardens, SE10 9LW (by the foot tunnel entrance)

By popular demand, a mid-week afterworker ride along the Thames Path from Greenwich to Erith and back. Completely flat(!), with a total distance of around 40 kilometres (200 furlongs).

You are advised to bring a clothes peg for use near Crossness on the Thames Path if the wind has a southerly component. Also bring tools, a puncture repair kit, a spare inner tube or two, and lights.

      Where: Lewisham borders
      When: Thursday 11 July 2013
Meet: 18:30 @ Blackheath Pond (by Princess of Wales pub)

An afterworker ride around the boundary of Lewisham borough. Hilly in parts, but nothing serious, and with much of the ride on quiet roads. Total distance 40 kilometres precisely (200 furlongs).

Bring tools, a puncture repair kit, a spare inner tube or two, and lights.

In both cases RSVP, but it's OK to turn up unannounced on the day.
