"Whilst over three-quarters of people rated getting about their local area
by car as good, people generally found walking or cycling around their area
less easy (Chart 7). Only 55% of people found it easy to get across roads
in their area, and less than 40% were satisfied with the condition of
pavements. Only 22% thought the provision of cycle lanes was good in their
      area."

      and

"Fewer than a half of respondents thought that the frequency (46%) and
reliability (45%) of local buses was good, and only a third (36%) thought
bus timetable information was good (Chart 8)"

So guess who is still getting the best deal from the policy makers and
      planners?

      Doug.
