The bit of the Thames Path at Lovells Wharf that has been closed for over six years was re-opened yesterday. Patience does have its rewards. It is a shared path albeit temporary until the whole development is completed...sometime. The access alley from Banning Street has been closed for site work. But further good news on the construction grapevine is that the developer of Enderbys Wharf (the one next to Lovells going east) is in receivership. So that at least delays another closure.

We have no apologies for the pic of Cllr Mary Mills cutting the red tape. She appears to be one of the few councillors interested in the Thames Path, one of the glories of the (Royal) Borough.
