      Dear List:

On the first Sunday of June, the churches under the Ecumenical Patriarchate are supposed to chant the apolytikion for the Second Ecumenical Council. This is a new hymn. The service was written in 1981, and the apolytikion was designated in Tone 1, with the same melody as "Tou Lithou..." We found the texts in one of the Kezios Orthros books and set them to music in Greek and English.

        Dear List:

If you downloaded the troparion for the Second Ecumenical Council (June 6) please note that a line of Greek was missing from the Greek version. It's fixed now. Sorry. If you downloaded it after 9 PM today, Sunday, May 30, you're OK. Otherwise, re-download.
