Golf Tourney to Benefit Habitat for Humanity

Golfers of all stripes are busy working on their games for the CAI-NH 7th Annual Golf Tournament, Silent Auction and Barbecue, to be held Thursday, August 12. To assure your spot for the tournament – one of the highlights of the CAI-NH Calendar – sign up quickly by calling the Chapter office at 1-866-603-7744.

The tournament begins with an 8 a.m. registration at Stonebridge Country Club in Goffstown, NH, just a few miles outside Manchester. The subject of rave reviews in the Boston Globe and Manchester Union Leader, this 18-hole championship length public course has been awarded a four-star rating by Golf Digest. Stonebridge was also rated number 37 among the region’s Top 100 courses to play by the New England Golf Journal.

The day-long CAI-NH event will include a barbecue lunch, silent auction, raffles, entertainment, and, of course, prizes for golfers in several categories. And you don’t have to be a golfer to participate in this terrific event! Reserve your spot for the 2 p.m. barbecue lunch, come early, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and take part in the silent auction, raffles and other festivities.

Co-Chairs Anita Chmilarski and John Reddy and their Golf Tournament Committee, including Alyce Hill, Ralph Noblin, Kevin Riney, Chris Snow, and Nuncy Sullivan, have planned a great day of fun, and all for a good cause.

CAI members who would like to lend a hand with the tournament are always welcome. To volunteer for the day, call the Chapter office today at 1-866-603-7744.

To make the tournament truly successful, CAI-NH needs your help. Consider donating a prize for the silent auction or raffle, or sponsoring the continental breakfast, barbecue lunch, golf balls, tees, an individual hole, the Las Vegas hole, the Legal Loophole, golf towels, or any the other items that go into making the day a successful fund-raiser for Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity. There are forms available in this issue of the CAI News for you to register for the tournament, sign on as a volunteer, donate a prize, or take on a sponsorship.

Sign up to golf now – before the tourney sells out … and then get out in the sunshine and polish your game in preparation for a terrific tournament.
