Hope this will be of interest

      John

Cranham Lidar , Two years on. Presentation and discussion of work done so
      far.

      Cranham Local History Society Meeting.

Cranham Village Hall at 7.30, Thursday 18th November 2010.

In 2008 Cranham Local History society organised a LIDAR aerial survey of 100
square kilometres around the parish. This LIDAR survey was the first
accurate mapping of all the ground features in this area to include features
      underneath the tree cover.

In 2009 GADARG, working in close collaboration with the Glos County Council
archaeology service and the National Trust have been analysing the LIDAR
survey data in conjunction with the existing archaeological record to
identify new sites of potential interest.

This evening is a presentation and discussion of the results of this
analysis and taking the project forward into the future.

      Look forward to seeing you

      Regards

      Martin Whitaker
