      Society for Landscape Studies Spring Weekend Conference - May 10 and 11

      Saturday May 10.
      Based in Nailsworth led by Ian Mackintosh.
      A whole day looking at the Stroudwater Textile Industry.
      Meet Egypt Mill 0945.

      Sunday May 11.
      Medieval Rural Landscapes with David Aldred and Chris Dyer.
      Hailes Abbey - Abbey site and surrounding landscape.
      Winchcombe - A medieval borough and its abbey.
      Hazleton - A shrunken medieval village and a North Gloucestershire rural landscape.
      Meet Hailes Abbey at 0930.

      Stops will be made on both days for lunch, where food can be bought, or packed lunch can be eaten.

      Cost £10 per day (£8 for SLS members)
