What do you all think it would take to actually kill one so he stayed dead?

The guy with the wolves -- the name will come back to me as
soon as I press "send" -- got a little information about the
time of the storm king from a wounded Jaeger, then killed
him. I believe he was chasing Agatha at the time; it was
shortly after she re-appeared after escaping Mechanicsburg.

Those wolves really, really deserve a better master.

The acid would only provide the energy for reanimation, like blood in vampire ashes.  You reeeeeeally wanna off a jaeger monster?  Hokay, you have a big picnic lunch and invite all the jaeger monsters.  Then, you pull aside the one you want to kill.  First, bonk him on the head with something REALLY heavy.  That won’t kill him, just help him to take a nice nap.  Then you wop off the head and cut all the pieces really fine, then put them in a grinder, mix with other meat like beef, chicken, horse and weasel, regrind, stuff into sausage casings, cook thoroughly, then feed to all the other Jaegers.  Extra spices in the mix might be advisable.  Now, if they come back from THAT, move to Skiffander and hope they get lost looking for you.  Oh, sure, you could arrange for special outhouses for the Jaegers (a good idea in any case) and have the...um...refuse piped directly into molten magma, but that seems like a lot of extra effort.

(What?  That is just too horrible to even contemplate...even for a Jaeger.  Man, Hovart, you are one wicked duck!)

When Krosp was meeting with the Generals, didn't they say that one died during the Polar Lords fight?  And another one was AWOL.

We've added 2 Generals too - Dimo and Vole.
