- Hello Everyone.
I have a lot of questions about what is happening here. It's back to being exciting IMO.
Clearly the trip to England by Agatha is to be somehow facilitated by the flying train who is yet to be named (Fluffy?, Tinkles? Chomper? Little Toot?) Yet, i have no idea how this is going to actually work - the train is presumably going to be a charmingly childlike mini-castle with an ability to recreate itself at it's own whim to please it's master/mistress. What's the mechanism? A pole with a sparkling spark equivalent of a carrot to entice a donkey? Does the new driver role fall to Krosp? Will he get his well deserved hat finally?Thinkings?Thomas - ---In girlgenius@yahoogroups.com, <babylon_tom@...> wrote :

Is she on her way to England at this point? I think she's just headed to Paris to try and get some help from the Master. I think she means to free Mechanicsburg before she goes to England. If they can actually tame "The Beast" it could definietly be a slick way to travel, but it's going to require some personality change. It doesn't follow Agatha's orders and tricking it into going where you want with a laser pointer is only going to work so long. The other problem is she's trying to travel in secret and that won't last flying around in that thing.-Steve - Silly person. It's obvious the train's name is "Blaine!"On Tuesday, February 10, 2015 8:28 AM, "rewastev@... [girlgenius]" <girlgenius@yahoogroups.com> wrote:

Small enough to carry around? Put back into captivity? Not sure on that. But I still think it's going to be used to get back into Mechanicsburg - maybe to eat the time fields?
I do wonder if it was created with those abilities or if it learned those on it's own. It's an impressive piece of sparkiness either way.
As for the driver/engineer - I don't think the Monks are going to let the train out of their sight willingly. So I'm guessing one of them will continue to travel with the train (and Agatha), assuming she's going to Paris first.
I'm having problems trimming previous posts in this reply. I've spent very little time on Yahoo Groups so I probably just need to poke around more.
I've got no issues with top posting vs. bottom posting in digest mode.

Small enough to carry around is an interesting theory, but how much would you have to feed it to get it big enough to use it again? Now that the monks have an alliance with Tweedle, is it likely that Agatha will allow one of them to go with her. It's really her train and when it comes right down to it, they probably couldn't stop her.I'm excited to see the Swartzwalders back and seemingly on our side now. I can't wait to hear how that plays out.-Steve
