- Aug 3, 2006i'm sure you all have heard by now about the great fopha which mel
Gibson made after being arrested drunk.
Now the media has gone crazy over the ordeal not to mention mel's
own attempts to correct what he said in frustration.
Yes, frustration. The situration in Irseral and Lebon is beyond
words. the frustration of the war can lead a sane individual to
thoughts of why and action.
So Mel in an intoxicated state stated his thoughts and frustration
over the current affairs of war in the middle east.
yes, i agree if what he said about "jew's being the cause of all
wars" is what he said, that this was not the best of thinking
because that thought is not true. But it has been a often stated
theory by many. So what if the theory is not entirely correct.
take the boxer rebelion in China. I am sure that was not anything
to do with anything Jewish.
so the theory that all wars are all caused by some jewish
connection is not entirely true.
But leaving that theory and well historically stated statement aside
what Mel was saying other than trying to blame someone for the
current war and deaths of individuals who just want to live in peace
was his frustration.
In my opinion He stated most everyones frustration at the war
between Isreal and Lebon which is in full swing.
Second many in the Middle east are also blaming the United STates of
America for Isreal's part in the current violence.
forget the kidnapping of Two Isreal individuals by the Helzbot group
in Lebon. This action started the violence. Then Rockets let glare.
What is a concerned individual to do but state their opinion if they
are any Man or Woman at all. Or just sit there waiting for someone
else to wring their hands over the ordeal and give a vent to peace.
I will Stand by Mel Gibson in his frustration and too say that I am
frustrated over the sensless violence in the Mid-East/Isreal-
Lebon/Muslem against Jew.
Oh yes we would like to blame someone for all the misfortune and
violence and wars but when drunk often the correct thinking may not
emerge.
So who is to blame?
Why can't peace be reached?
And why is hate for one group of people cause enough to war?
if violence and war were a desease what is the cure?
getting drunk and self medicating over the plight of this current
affair in Isreal is one mans solution to numbing the inhumanity
being done to others and between others.
Stating the frustration to that problem is of equal importance. I
can just see Rice needing a drink after the talks and seeing the
conditions in that area. Here she is trying to come to some accord
between nations. And what do I hear...but Muslem's shouting louder
thier opinion of Isreal/Jews/and the United States.
In my opinion, Mel Gibson has done us all a favor by stating his
frustration between the Jewish and Muslem peoples even if his
selection of words were found to be offensive to sone.
You bet they were offensive. Most verbalized frustrations are
offensive But not as offensive as the actions currently being
employed in the state of affairs-violence-war between the Jewish
nation and many of their neighbors.
Stand up and be heard like Mel. State your anger your frustrations.
Tell someone how you fell about what you think-even if your thinking
is not totally correct.
Give freedom of Speach its place in the course of the average human
experience and expression. Vent your feeling. State your
thoughts. Stand up with Mel and say too..."I'm frustrated over
these senseless acts of violence and hatred of one peoples toward
another".
and if you have to get drunk to say so at least you've taken a step
beyond the silent majority toward action.
thanks Mel.
