Please forgive the length of time it took me to respond somehow it got lost in my spam.
I am not sure but since Carola was born and raised in Germany I am leaning toward the documents stating that she was a Germany citizen, I do not know how their daughter Cynthia would be listed. My son told me that she had dual citizenship's until she is 21.
Thank you so much for your response.

      Have a wonderful Day,

My brother also had a child in Germany while in the service, he wants to know

was the child born  in an American or German hospital, and was she listed as an

American or as a German. He says all you'll have to do is contact the American

Embassy if she's listed as American.

My son James Russell Hall ll met married and had a daughter while

stationed in Berlin Germany in the 1980's. Is there any way to get the birth and

marriage records from German? The information I have is as follows.

Carola Thom b.3 Mar 1966 Berlin

      m. James Russell Hall 1984 in Berlin Stadt Berlin Germany

Daughter Cynthia Hall b.26 Jun 1986

I did receive a hint in my ancestry tree file but it was all in the German

language and was unable to read it.

any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.
