      Suggest take one of the old photo's, which is of least value, and try the
      following:

      Prepare about a gallon of good water by adding a teaspoon of bicarbonate of
      soda, mix well. Immerse the photo and swish for a few minutes, if it doesn't
      clear your "brown spots, rub gently with your index finger.

      IF this work, rinse with ACID FREE water and dry betwee layers of paper
      towels. If OK do the remainer. Replace towels often and add weight to make
      them dry flat.
