I am a descendant of the Hopkins family of Edgecombe and Martin Counties.
My ggg grandmother was Tabitha Cutchens Hopkins. It's been a while since
I've looked at any of my Hopkins information, but I'll e-mail when I can put
my hands on it. I do remember that Tabitha married John (Jack) Hopkins, and
they had a daughter named Barzilla, among other children. There was also a
sister named Susan and Mary Della, I believe. Anyway, I'll look it up and
get back with you. Perhaps there is a connection...
