Clifton Troy JACKSON b.6 Sep 1901 d.13 Feb 1966 was son of David Clarence JACKSON b.26 Dec 1883 d.2 Dec 1940 and 1st wife Sally KENNEDY (their only child). (Note: David Clarence had 4 children by 2nd wife Ida Leone HART and 7 children by 3rd wife Mary Elizabeth HART).
David Clarence was 4th child of William Claudeous "Clotus" JACKSON and Alice Elizabeth PHILLIPS.
Shadrack "Shade" JACKSON II b.1778 d. 1858 had 13 children. (1st wife UK, 6 children) (2nd wife, Easter ? b.1790 married 1820, 5 children .. Elizabeth & Wyatt were twins) (3rd wife, Catherine WILKERSON b.1780 d.1860, 2 daughters)
Shadrack II was son of John "Jack" JACKSON, Sr b.1748 d.1812; son of Joseph JACKSON Sr, son of Shadrack I
John JACKSON b.7 Nov 1804 d.23 May 1863 (son of Shadrack II and 1st wife) m. Louisa McGOWAN b.1 Jan 1807 d.15 Oct 1879 (Parents UK). They had 8 children. My GGF William Claudeous "Clotus" was twin to Richard M. (Note: John b.1840 and George b.1842 died at Gettysburg, Guilford b.1835 was wounded but survived, Benjamin Franklin b.1846 was in Co.C 67 NC Inf.)
