Day-Long Courses announced for the 2011 Global Microcredit Summit
We are delighted to announce the day-long courses to be presented at the 2011 Global Microcredit Summit to be held from November 14 to 17, 2011 in Valladolid, Spain.
One-day courses include:
Introductory Course on Social Performance Initiatives, Indicators and Tools
Led by Laura Foose, Social Performance Task Force, USA
Capacity: 75 participants
Two-day courses include:
Client Protection Principles Training
Led by SMART Campaign, USA
Capacity: 20 participants
Empowering Women through Microfinance: Current Innovations and Tools
Led by Linda Mayoux, Oxfam Novib's WEMAN Programme, The Netherlands
Capacity: 50 participants

New deadline for Associated Sessions is May 30
The deadline to send your applications for Associated Sessions has been moved up to May 30. The Microcredit Summit Secretariat will begin announcing the selected sessions after that date. The Secretariat will continue accepting applications through August 1 but you are encouraged to submit your application early as spaces are limited.
