have you posted on the many adoptions boards online?
if u cannot get records, she may be looking for you and the boards have both
      query types.

Subject: [Genealogy Research Club] Looking for our lost sister

We looking for Our sister who is the daughter of Kenice Ruth Arenburg. Her name is Ann and was adopted sometime in the mid 40's by an inlaw family member when she lived in North Haven Conn. She was raised in Jacksonville Fla. She has 2 daughters of her own now in there 30's 40's.
I have no last name for Ann or marriage certificate of our mother. We have searched data bases and asked family members any one who knew have already passed. Is there anywhere to look if a private adoption took place?
Thanks to anyone who can give us idea's as to how to look form her.

      Regards, Mickie & Skip
