7245Re: [Genealogy Research Club] Geneaology Computer Software
- Mar 23, 2004Ladymluv,
I use a computer program called family tree maker edition Version 11, I find it quite adequate to input information in regards to genealogy. I do plan to go and buy the deluxe edition when I have the money. Anyway, best to use either the Family Tree Maker or check out genealogy.com. They usually have a bit of genealogy software you can use, but I was refered to the family tree maker. My version you can build a family book, which I have not learned yet how to maneuver around. Although over time I do plan on building a family book.

I was wondering if any of you have used a good geneaology program on
your computer to keep track of information you find, and if so what
is it and how much does it cost to buy it? I have stacks of papers
and would like to get the information down in one place. :)Thanks for
all your help so far. :)
