I say we stick with the baseball field at Washington Park. Feel free to check and report back on the status of the other field. From: "Worth Freeman

Group Description

We play pickup disc in San Mateo, California each Wednesday evening from mid-April until mid-October.

Though we originally started as a joint corporate team (Genen1ech and 0rac1e, thus the "Genacles" team name) in the 1990s and used to play in tournaments, we've mellowed a bit and mostly get together on Wednesdays to play, drink beer, and make fun of each other. We're best at the latter two. Only a handful of us still receive our paychecks from 0rac1e or Genen1ech, and even fewer of us still work there.

Players of all levels and genders are welcome to join us on Wednesday nights. We try to start at 6PM (but we do recognize ultimate time...) and quit when it's dark. After the game we head to the Steelhead Brewery in Burlingame.

Usually we have between 15 and 20 players (summer 2004 update -- we've been getting 30+ players... make sure to bring a dark and a light shirt so that you can play for either team).

Helpful items to bring: a white and a colored t-shirt (so that you can play on either team), water, cleats.

A lawn chair, extra frisbees and cones often come in handy too.

Follow the mailing list for latest field info. July 2015 update: we're playing at
North School
545 Eucalyptus Ave
Hillsborough, CA 94010
