I've set up the Console to be docked at the bottom and auto-hiding.
What I was trying to acheve is to get it shown when there is something
in it (as a result of a compilation, tool execution etc.) and then
using keyboard only to get back to the Editor.
The problem is that when using the shortcut 'Focus editor' the focus
transfers to Editor, but the Console remains onscreen. That's pretty
irritating, cause the last few lines of code remain behind it. I tried
the other way around, pressing Esc to close the Console. That works
fine too, but the focus does not transfer to the last window used
before console, and I still have to use the 'Focus editor' shortcut.
Is this behaviour normal? My experience with auto-hiding windows and
panes shows that when focus is being transfered from an auto-hiding
window to some other window the first one shouild hide.
One other thing, is it possible to make 'Project manager' and 'Class
viewer' shortcuts to focus the respective component? They bring it up,
but I still have to click in them in order to make it possible to use
the arrow keys to move over the classes/methods.
I know that those are not top priority issues, but it would be very
nice if I was able to work with Gel without having to leave the
keyboard to use the mouse.
Best regards, Hristo Doynov.
