Now that you mention it, one of my many GW projects sitting in the to
do list is exactly this. Actually, I thought of multiple elevators,
placed around the equator. With the various factions of Earth in the
Shadow Years, I imagined they'd each want one of their own. Or, on the
flip side, a faction controlling the area around an elevator might
restrict or deny access to other factions.

another on one of the islands of Indonesia, maybe even more than one
in each of these areas, depending on how well your campaign had
